ヴィヴィアン・サッセン
オランダ在住のフォトグラファー。ファッションデザインを学んだ後、ユトレヒト芸術大学（HKU）とアトリエ・アーネムで写真を学ぶ。独特の色彩感覚とグラフィカルな構図が生み出す唯一無二の作品性で、ファッション・フォトグラファーとしてメゾンのキャンペーンを多数手掛けるほか、アーティストとしても高く評価されている。2013年第55回ヴェネツィア・ビエンナーレを始め数多くの国際グループ展に参加するほか、ハウス・マルセイユ美術館、ヴェルサイユ宮殿、オランダ写真美術館など多くのギャラリーや美術館で個展を開催。2024年にはKYOTOGRAPHIEにて日本初の大型回顧展『PHOSPHOR: Art & Fashion 1990-2023』がヨーロッパ写真美術館（パリ）より巡回し、大きな話題を呼んだ。

Viviane Sassen
Viviane Sassen is a renowned photographer, recognised for her vivid use of colour and striking graphical compositions. Initially trained in fashion design, she later studied photography at Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) and Ateliers Arnhem. Her work bridges the worlds of fashion and fine art, with collaborations for leading fashion houses and highly acclaimed exhibitions at institutions such as the Huis Marseille Museum, the Palace of Versailles, and the National Museum of Photography in the Netherlands. In 2024, her first major retrospective in Japan, PHOSPHOR: Art & Fashion 1990-2023, was hosted by KYOTOGRAPHIE, following its debut at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie (MEP) in Paris, cementing her influence across both fields.
